Pollution: an infectious disease
I saw this poster in a middle school this weekend: [1]

Breathes in [smoke from "Japan pollution company" factory]
Cough cough cough
[Huge group of people] cough!
Spreads!
Apparently they're doing a unit on Japan [2] including some on pollution and public heath, but some kids are a little confused.
[1] I was there for a dance event.
[2] There were other posters about Japan, including a set of Venn diagrams with circles for what American kids have, Japanese kids have, and both. There was a lot of variation in what they put down, but every single one mentioned that American kids have five days of school a week while Japanese ones have six. Pretty important to kids.
