Old Swarthmore Folkdance Videos

Miranda found some videos of 1960s and 1970s folkdance at swarthmore:

• 1961 dedication of the 'fine arts building', which at 7:40 is clearly pearson. Several international folk dances. (video)

• 1961 dancing in a gym. Several international folk dances. (video)

• ~1973 dancing in a gym. Several international folk dances, an english dance, rapper to bagpipes (9:07), may pole dancing. (video)

• ~1974 parents day, dancing outside. Processional, hobby horse, english dancing and rapper on parrish beach, morris in the ville, rapper on sharples patio, international dancing, may pole dancing. (video)

• ~1975 parents' day. Processional, hobby horse. Morris, english, bacca pipes in front of parrish. Morris, rapper, and english in front of the co-op. (video)

No sound, sadly.

I was going to post some videos of folkdance club circa 2007, but I can't find any looking at what early videos swat friends were tagged in.
